CAVO interprets spotlights in a revolutionary new way. Suspended ceilings fully conceal the innovative integrated housing. As if from nowhere, CAVO produces a spotlight effect with no visible source. The round or square housing, for trimless installation in plasterboard ceilings, uses a tool-free magnetic holder to almost imperceptibly accommodate up to three adjustable cylindrical spotlights. Later it became an inn – and has remained so to this day – but now adorned with culinary awards. Until recently, owner and head chef Philip Rachinger was cooking and creating in his 1964 kitchen.
